Chi-ho Ta started his bartending career in 2010, learning the tricks of the trade at Barrelproof Company and putting this into practice in catering and events. With this basis he moved to Elit, in that time one of the hot spots in Rotterdam, gaining experience to eventually return to Barrelproof Company and Dr. Rotterdam’s first speakeasy bar. Throughout the years he did some traveling around, working in Curacao and helping set up several bars in Rotterdam, to then eventually return to Dr. again to run the bar, backed by an amazing team of skilled bartenders. In the meantime, operating as consultant and support bartender for great brands such as De Kuyper Royal Distillers, building the brand and training bar-staff throughout The Netherlands and abroad, while traveling the world for guest appearances and shifts in bars and barshows, from Los Angeles to London and Oslo to Tokyo.
